A grounding product only works if it stays conductive. Many grounding sheets gradually lose their conductivity after repeated washing — so we back our Grounding Mattress Cover with a promise most brands won't make:
If your Ohm Standard Grounding Mattress Cover fails a ground test at any point within 3 years of delivery, we will replace it. Free.
How to claim
- Test your mattress cover using a continuity/ground tester or multimeter (our support team can walk you through it — no electrical experience needed).
- Email support@ohmstandard.com with your order number, proof of purchase, and a short video or photos clearly showing the failed test.
- Once we verify the claim, we'll ship a free replacement of the same product (or a comparable model if that item is unavailable). No return required for warranty claims.
This guarantee is a conductivity guarantee only — it covers loss of conductivity, not general wear, appearance, comfort, or fit. It applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Replacement is the sole remedy under this guarantee. The 3-year period runs from the original delivery date and is not restarted or extended by a replacement.
What's covered
- Loss of conductivity under normal home use, including washing according to our care instructions.
What's not covered
- Products other than the Grounding Mattress Cover (covered instead by the standard 90-night guarantee).
- Damage from hot water, high-heat drying, bleach, fabric softener, or other care-instruction violations.
- Physical damage from misuse, accidents, pets, sharp objects, or improper use (cuts, burns, tears, punctures).
- Normal cosmetic wear such as fading, creasing, or surface marks that do not affect conductivity.
- Products purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers, or without valid proof of purchase.
- Claims where the product cannot be tested or the failure cannot be reasonably verified.
Caring for your cover
Proper care keeps your Grounding Mattress Cover conductive and preserves your 3-Year Conductivity Guarantee. Please follow these guidelines:
- Wash in cold or lukewarm water only — never hot water.
- If machine washing, use the gentle (delicate) cycle with a mild detergent.
- Avoid bleach and fabric softener, as these can coat the conductive fibers and reduce performance.
- Tumble dry on low or no heat, never high heat, or allow to air dry.
- For best results, air dry naturally and keep out of direct sunlight.
Ohm Standard reserves the right to verify all warranty claims and to determine, reasonably and in good faith, whether a claim qualifies under this guarantee. We may update the terms of this guarantee at any time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
