Safety & Science
Is this a scam, or just an expensive placebo?
Fair question — this category has earned the skepticism. The honest answer: the grounding connection itself is real physics you can measure — with the test pen in the box, or any household multimeter.
Whether you feel a difference is something only you can judge — which is why you get 90 nights to decide, and your money back if you don't.
Is it safe to plug into my wall? What about a power surge?
Yes — it's safe by design. The cord connects only to your outlet's ground, never to live current, so there's no path for live current to reach you.
The plug has a single round pin, sized for the ground port of a standard US grounded outlet — it physically can't fit the flat live slots. And a 100 kΩ safety resistor is built into the cord as a second safeguard. You're connecting to your outlet's ground — the same protective earth connection your home's wiring is built around — not to its live power.
Do I need an adapter to use this?
No — nothing extra is needed. The cord plugs straight into the round ground port of any grounded US outlet on its own.
Our Dual-Port Adapter is a separate accessory for one specific situation: grounding two products — like the cover and a grounding pillowcase — from a single bedside outlet.
What if my outlet isn't grounded?
Most homes built after 1970 have grounded outlets — the kind with three holes, including a round port at the bottom. Your test pen confirms it in seconds. If your outlet isn't grounded, contact us and we'll help you figure out your options.
Will I feel anything the first night?
Some people notice a difference right away; most describe gradual changes over the first two to three weeks. A few report a mild tingling at first that usually settles. Grounding isn't a stimulant or a sedative — it's contact with the earth's electrical field, the way your body would experience it outdoors.
Is there anyone who shouldn't use it?
If you have a pacemaker, take blood-thinning medication, or are pregnant or nursing, please talk to your physician before use.
Setup & Use
How does it sit on my bed?
The cover lays flat on top of your mattress, held in place with adjustable straps so it won't shift overnight. You then make the bed as usual, with one thin natural-fibre fitted sheet over the top.
You sleep on the sheet — grounding still passes through a thin natural-fibre layer, with direct skin contact giving the strongest connection.
Do I sleep directly on it, or under my sheet?
Either works, but we suggest keeping a thin fitted sheet over the cover — your sheet takes the washing, so the cover itself rarely needs it. Grounding still passes through thin natural fibre (cotton or linen).
If you prefer the strongest connection, bare skin directly on the cover works too — a quick wipe-down keeps it fresh, with an occasional gentle machine wash when it needs one. Keep any layer thin: thick mattress toppers and synthetic sheets can block the connection.
Does it work with any bedsheet?
The sheet over the cover needs to be a natural fibre — cotton or linen — because grounding passes through natural fibres but not polyester or synthetic blends. Keep it to one thin layer between you and the cover.
Most people already have a cotton sheet in the linen closet, or a basic one runs $30–50 online.
Will it make my bed hot?
No. The layer is less than a millimetre thin and your sheet sits on top — it's designed to disappear into the bed you already have.
Will it fit my mattress?
It comes in Twin/Single, Full/Double, Queen, and King — held in place by adjustable straps that fit mattresses up to 38 cm (15") deep — most US mattresses run 10–14". Exact dimensions are in the size chart on the product page, right beside the size selector.
Care & Durability
How do I keep it clean?
It needs very little cleaning. Because your fitted sheet sits between you and the cover, it mostly stays clean on its own — a wipe with a damp cloth handles the rest. When it does need a wash: machine wash cold on gentle, air dry in the shade away from direct sun and heat, no bleach.
Doesn't the conductivity fade over time?
Our conductive layer is carbon-infused PU leather — the conductive element is built into the material itself, not a silver-thread coating sitting on the surface that wears with washing. We back it with a 3-Year Conductivity Guarantee: if it ever fails a ground test, we'll replace it.
Orders
What's your return policy?
Sleep on it for 90 nights. If it's not for you, send it back for a full refund — even if you've used and washed it.
Most of this category refuses used returns. We don't.
How fast does it ship?
Orders are processed within 3 business days. Once shipped, US delivery typically takes 5–12 business days. Tracking is emailed the moment your order ships.
